Job Description

Division Field Shops & Services Div Position Description Saudi Aramco/Mechanical Services Shops Department is seeking for an experienced maintenance engineer with in-depth hands-on knowledge in the following fields: • Maintenance and repair function of gas turbines and equipment • Damage assessment, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigating and ensuring job site safety • Troubleshoot mechanical systems of heavy industrial gas turbines • Taking the corrective actions in all technical activities related to heavy industrial gas turbines and its equipment/accessories • Aptitude and ability to apply an engineering analysis and maintenance techniques & practices to the selection and utilization of tools, equipment and materials • Have considerable practical knowledge and experience in maintenance methods and practices • Knowledge of the electrical and/or instrumentation systems is an advantage • Knowledge of Arabic language not required, but preferable Minimum Requirements • Experience: minimum 7 years in field maintenance and repair and/or overhaul of gas turbines and its equipment such as electrical generators and gear boxes • BSc Mechanical (Mechanical and/or Mechatronics) Duties & Responsibilities • Assigning tasks to employees at site, tracking personal time, creating field service reports for completed work. • Reporting the status of the gas turbine field inspections regularly to management. • Supervise technical and engineering crew Perform QA function and assign them to technical crew. • Maintaining inspection schedule, managing subcontractors' crew • Performed several periodic & Non-periodic inspections for Heavy Industrial Gas Turbines such as borescope inspection, combustion inspection (CI), hot gas path (HGPI) and major inspection (MI)
